The Law of Karma in Business
In business—and in life—every action, thought, and intention is a seed we plant.
As a student or Reiki and the founder of Wondersource, a company dedicated to mental fitness and success in the workplace who is always learning cutting edge research and modalities to bring the best solutions to our clients, I see firsthand how energy shapes outcomes. Beyond strategy, performance, and execution, our nervous system, mindset and the energy we bring to our work directly impact the results we create.
This weekend, I took a Pranic Healing course where we explored The Law of Karma (Cause & Effect). It reinforced something I’ve always believed: What we put out into the world, we receive in return.
We all know the golden rule: Treat others how you want yourself and loved ones to be treated. But in business—where so many operate from fear, stress, doubt, and survival mode—this principle can be easy to forget.
Rather than simply practicing love and kindness to ourselves and others (which is a great foundation), we also need to be mindful of the energy we bring to everything—our meetings, emails, client interactions, posts, projects, and vision. Every action carries intention, and that intention shapes the outcomes we create.
What Kind of Seeds Are You Planting? 🌱
If we plant seeds of scarcity, fear, or doubt, what kind of results can we expect?
If we hold back—stuck in overanalyzing and procrastination—how does that shape the outcome?
If we take bold, imperfect action—embracing uncertainty and trusting ourselves to figure things out—what new opportunities could unfold?
If we lead with trust, integrity, purpose, and generosity, what kind of success and impact do we create?
Questions I’m Asking Myself This Week:
As I continue to build Wondersource, these are the questions guiding me—and they might resonate with you too:
Am I planting seeds of possibility, value, impact, and joy?
Am I fully serving and blessing my business, existing clients, and audience—adding immense value now? Or am I focused on attracting the next client?
Am I showing up with consistency, or waiting for motivation or a more “perfect” moment?
Am I making decisions from faith and vision, or fear and doubt?
Am I taking clear, committed action toward my goals, or am I overanalyzing and procrastinating?
Am I trusting that life is abundant and value flows back, or am I holding back in scarcity?
Am I leading from a place of giving or taking?
Energy Shapes Outcomes
Every client and colleague interaction, team meeting, investment, post, and decision carries energy—we are constantly putting something out into the world. When that energy is intentional, uplifting, and aligned with our values, not only do we attract better outcomes, but we feel better.
There’s less stress when we know we’re doing all we can towards our desired outcome, acting in good faith, showing up with integrity, and making a positive impact. When we lead with generosity and purpose, the ripple effect extends far beyond business—it shapes how we experience life.
When we stop doubting ourselves and lead with clarity, confidence, love, and purpose and the knowing that what we sow we reap, we cultivate a career / business, and life that really thrives.
