Kirsten is a fitness and wellness expert focused on guiding busy professionals to discover their healthiest life through fitness, nutrition, and a means of constant balance. Her mission is to simplify the science and help you develop the skills and habits needed to achieve your long-term health and wellness goals.

With over 15 years of experience working with some of the industry’s leading health and wellness experts, celebrities, athletes, and wellness companies, Kirsten holds a strong understanding of the various functions and complexities of the human body and mind, the complexity of human lives and experiences, and prides herself on creating positive environments where every client can thrive and succeed no matter where you are starting from.

Kirsten continues to study the various and growing scientific principles and theories of holistic wellness, gaining a significant appreciation and knowledge for movement assessments, screenings, and application; lifestyle/wellness management techniques; and alternative eating lifestyles and dietary theories.

How can I help

As someone who has dedicated my career to helping others improve health and performance through self-care and sustainable habits, I understand that no two bodies are the same and we are incredibly unique in regards to our needs, motivations, personalities, and physiology. I take a truly integrative approach to coaching. Based on your goals, fitness level, medical and health history, and personal schedule, not only will you receive customized coaching, but complete wellness management to create your healthiest life possible. Together we’ll develop a unique plan and skill set to help you on your personal wellness journey.

My approach to fitness and nutrition is simple: small habits, easy planning, and education to help you cultivate a healthier relationship with food and movement. Coaching does not need to be complicated; I’m here to make it approachable, collaborative, and effective. Work Experience and Accreditation

After receiving a BS in Clinical Exercise Science from Ithaca College and moving to Los Angeles in 2005, Kirsten joined Equinox Fitness Clubs and was part of the inaugural team launching the first Tier 4 (now Tier X) Coaching Program on the west coast until 2013. In 2009, she founded Running With Forks initially as a personal chef and nutrition company to feed and fuel her private training clientele while helping them reach their health and fitness goals and has since made Running With Forks an all encompassing wellness service. To further her coaching education, Kirsten has continued to receive certifications over the years to round out her expertise, including but not limited to a 200 hour RYT yoga certification from the American Yoga School, Precision Nutrition coaching, Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist, Kinstretch training, and Functional Range Assessment.

Kirsten was an early adopter to online coaching and began her online presence in 2014 after a move to Seattle. Since then, she works with clientele both in person, virtually 1:1, and through online coaching while also consulting and creating content for various health and wellness publications and online fitness platforms.

When it comes to improving your overall health, my philosophy centers on finding putting all the pieces together for you while improving your foundational strength and mobility, correcting movement pattern inefficiencies and breathing mechanics, shifting lifestyle and nutritional patterns, and enhancing mindfulness around various lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress, and emotional support.
